What can we do? (part 1)

Sunnyvale School District (SSD) wants to money. To the point that they are willing to gamble with our children's future. This is just plain wrong!

Parents need to understand the process, be very vocal, and organize a protest.

Children need to talk about it, let their parents know about the CPT and meetings, tell their teachers and principals what they think. Children can also write to the Governor and the President. I will show you how in another post. It is time to make a difference. Have you ever read Frindle and No Talking by Andrew Clements? It is time to exercise the Kid Power!

Unless there is a good turnout at the protest, this CPT will be passed. And more CPTs will creep up at every school in SSD and other districts.

Why? How can you be so sure?

Because everyone is pointing fingers!

California Department of Education points to the School District

California Department of Education says it leaves it up to the school district to decide about CPTs in school grounds. Second paragraph of this document discourages CPTs in school grounds but does not prohibit them.

I have a strong feeling that proper procedures were not followed in this case because of the 'Hush Up' by the SSD office. If you want to look into the legal issues of how the SSD office had handled this case, I will post your progress.

The School District points to the FCC.

Third paragraph of this document (Page 9 of the 100 plus document for the proposal of a CPT in Pondarosa Park, which was approved in 2007), says:

So are you going to fight the FCC?

Have you spotted the circular argument yet?
