Words got out, but not fast enough. Not soon enough. Not widespread enough.
The second Neighborhood Information Meeting was set at
6:30pm on Wednesday December 8th 2010, in Sunnyvale Middle School
How many people knew about it?
How many people were able to make it on a one-day or two-day notice?
It was raining on and off all day. It was definitely raining between 6pm through 9pm. But it didn't matter. People still showed up. Because people care! People don't want a Cell Phone Tower in school grounds!
Kudos to those who braved the weather and arranged for baby-stitters to be at the meeting.
