What can we do? (part 2)

This is my understanding of How Things Work in the City of Sunnyvale...

Decisions in Sunnyvale are done in multi-stages. Ultimately, the City Council gets the final vote. The City Council consists of 7 elected members.

The City Council appoints Boards and Commissions to help weed out frivolous issues.

In the CPTs on SMS issues, we are directly dealing with the following people who can kill the proposal along the way.

• Sunnyvale School District Board Members and Superintendent
• City's Planning Commision Members
• City's Council Members

So we need to tell these people we are very unhappy.

Email them, call them, write to them, visit them. Do everything we can to make them pay attention to the fact that we are pissed!

We Should also write to our Governor and First Lady of California to tell the we have a major issue in the City of Sunnyvale! That the City Council is allowing the School District Offices to put CPTs on school grounds, ignoring potential health problems.
