FAQ

1. Why are CPTs everywhere?
Answer: See economics for why CPTs are everywhere.
Answer: See schools for why schools and parks are easy targets.

2. Are there health issues related to CPT? Where children are concern?
Answer: Very likely. Many studies based on examinations of health records have found health issues. (See post) Many more studies find inconclusive results, mostly due to the consistency and reproducibility of the results across studies conducted by different researchers. (See a post on how researches could produce different conclusions.)
Answer: Most likely. Few studies are directly done on children. Most reports on RF radiations on children are based on extrapolation of results on adults using dosimetric calculations. Such extrapolation is problematic because of complexity of modeling human physiology which is highly diversed and not fully understood. (See paper on children)

3. Has there ever been any CPT accident?
Answer: Yes. Tower collapsed after fire caused by welders. Another collapsed due to metal fatigue. (See cell phone tower accidents.)

4. Is it ugly? Will it affect property values of the neighborhood?
Answer: Yes, it is ugly, especially as seen from inside the school. (See post)
Answer: Dunno. It might reduce property value depending on the results of ongoing research of health effects. Apartment buildings around 930 W. Remington will have a hard time renting out the units facing SMS.
